Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 has had a rough launch, and thankfully, Activision was quick to respond to negative critical reception.
The publisher shared this apologetic, if somewhat generic, statement to the press:
Activision is (sic) aware of the issues that players have experienced following the launch of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 and are working with the developer to address these so that we can continue to improve the gameplay experience for all of the Tony Hawk fans who have known and loved this franchise for more than 16 years.
Most recently, however, Activision revealed they will be giving away two more stages and five bonus skaters in future updates.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 also has yet to release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, so hopefully Activision and Robomodo will ensure it releases without issues on those platforms.
