As you may already know, a new Grand Turismo 7 update is coming out this week, and it will feature three brand-new cars – what will these mysterious cars be though, the possibilities are literally endless. Well, a recent tweet from the producer of the game might just give the mystery away.
Kazunori Yamauchi tweeted over the weekend, and simply said “Update is coming next week.” But it’s not the words we are interested in, it’s the picture that shows silhouettes of three separate cars. Now, there are plenty of car fanatics out there, so giving these gear heads a silhouette is as good as giving them the car’s name.
And it’s not the first time that this method has been used as a means of portraying mystery with new cars – the fans guessed right then too. The Gran Turismo news site GTPlanet claims to have identified two out of three of the cars, with the final one still being unknown, to them at least. Take a look at the tweet below to see if you recognize any of these cars.
GTPlanet claims that the top car is the Toyota GR010, a special car created specifically to be a Le Mans Hypercar. This car has been lined up to make an appearance in the game due to an upcoming online tournament featuring this vehicle in one of the races.
One down, two to go. GTPlanet also believes that the silhouette in the bottom right belongs to the GoPro Rampage 1970 Camaro. This is another car that Yamauchi has always wanted to include in Gran Turismo 7 – these are becoming a little straightforward, aren’t they?
Now, the final car in the bottom left is generating the most mystery, with GTPlanet hesitantly claiming it could be a C3-generation Corvette. All these guesses could very well be wrong, but what do you think, there’s got to be some car fanatics out there that can identify these without a problem. Stay tuned for the update when it drops on Gran Turismo 7 later this week anyway.
