If you missed getting the Black Spindle the first time around, you’ll have a chance to get it again in the near future.
For those not in the know, Black Spindle is the Exotic Sniper Rifle that dropped during the Daily Heroic yesterday in Destiny: The Taken King. It was only available as a special event and required players to make their way through the mission and go off into a side area and kill a large army of Taken in under 10 minutes. Speaking on Twitter, Bungie designer Rob Engein said that the event will be put on rotation, so if you didn’t get it the first time around, you’ll have more chances.

It’s always advisable to participate in these Daily Heroic Story missions, if only for the Legendary Marks you get for completing them. But there’s a good chance that other missions contain hidden extras, as players are beginning to discover.
