Complete FIFA 16 Soundtrack Revealed

September 10, 2015 by Michael Fossbakk

San Francisco-based Slaptop will curate Goals of the Week segment, too.

The full lineup for FIFA 16’s official soundtrack was revealed by EA Sports today, featuring the likes of Of Monsters and Men, Beck, Icona Pop, and more.

“FIFA has traditionally been gaming's foremost international showcase for new artists of every genre,” said worldwide executive of music and marketing at EA Steve Schnur, “and with FIFA 16, we’ve once again created a soundtrack that will enable millions of fans worldwide to discover new music they might have never heard otherwise. Artists like Kygo and Aurora from Norway, X-Wife from Portugal, Bomba Estereo from Colombia, The Very Best from Malawi and the UK, Baiana System from Brazil and Raury from America do more than just enhance a great game. FIFA 16 represents globalized music as its very best.”

San Francisco-based DJ-producer Slaptop appears on FIFA 16’s soundtrack, but he will also be the man in charge of the music for “Goals of the Week,” a weekly video segment from EA Sports that highlights the best in-game goals found online each week. To be featured in Goals of the Week, simply go here to fill out a form with your name, a YouTube link to the goal in question, and some other, optional information.

A sample of FIFA 16’s soundtrack can be found on Spotify here or in the embedded player below.

A full list of artists and their tracks can be found here.

FIFA 16, the first game in the series to feature female players, will be released on Sept. 22 in North America and Sept. 24 in Europe for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Android, and iOS.
