Some comparison screenshots for Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox 360 have been revealed, as a surprising revelation has also come up.
The Xbox 360 port is being handled by Nixxes, a Dutch studio who specialize in porting games to alternate platforms. In fact. they have worked with Crystal Dynamics since they started, in a career that spans fifteen years.
Now, historically Nixxes ports haven’t always been the best, but as of late they have done a serviceable job, with games like Hitman Absolution for Windows, and Tomb Raider for Windows and PlayStation 3. These screenshots seem to indicate that the Xbox 360 port will be very playable, and match up with the Xbox One version when it comes to the gameplay, if not on the graphics. Nothing has been conspicuously omitted that would affect gameplay. Also, if we were to be honest, most gamers would not notice any dip in graphic quality if they were shown the Xbox 360 images on their own.

Now, Official Xbox Magazine have just revealed that multiplayer has been cut from Rise of the Tomb Raider. It’s a strange omission, but may have been required to ensure that it would release on time. Square Enix will need to keep all stakeholders happy, from the platform companies to their fans.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released for Xbox 360 and Xbox One in November 2015, Microsoft Windows in early 2016, and for PlayStation 4 in late 2016. You can see the comparison screenshots below.
