Bethesda has just sent us word that QuakeCon 2016 has been confirmed and dated.
QuakeCon invites thousands of players from around the world each year for a four-day video game festival featuring North America's largest "Bring Your Own Computer" LAN party. Players from all over the world gather their gaming rigs and gaming laptops to attend the event, where games from Bethesda and id Software are showcased.
Last year, Doom was shown behind closed doors to fans of the series ahead of its E3 2015 reveal. Doom fans, being truly fans of the series, didn't leak a single detail about what they saw.
Thanks to Bethesda and id Software and their sponsors, QuakeCon 2016 will be open to public and attendance is comnpletely FREe for general attendees.
It'll take place on Thursday, August 4 to Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas.
Guests can make room reservations at the hotel by calling 1-800-Hiltons or 1-800-445-8667 or book a room online. The hotel is offering a special rate of $169 per night when you reference QuakeCon 2016. Sweet!
