The first trailer for The Behemoth’s fourth game, Pit People, was released by the developer today.
It wasn’t until last month that The Behemoth’s fourth game, aptly titled Game 4 at the time, received its official name of Pit People.
The Behemoth is a developer known for 2004’s Alien Hominid, 2008’s Castle Crashers, and 2013’s BattleBlock Theater. Their next game, Pit People, will be a turn-based, strategy, co-op game with a grid-style movement system. Players will control multiple heroes and level them up through combat.
For those attending PAX Prime this weekend, Pit People will be palyable on the show floor at booth 3003.
Earlier this year, The Behemoth released a video of the first 20 minutes of Pit People, which you can view below. The gameplay shown in this video is what was demoed at PAX East this year with minor updates. It is unknown if this will be the same demo available to attendees of PAX Prime this weekend.
No release date is currently known for Pit People, but it will be available on Xbox One and PC when it is released. The Behemoth’s last two games, Castle Crashers and BattleBlock Theater were both released exclusively on Xbox 360 until later coming to other platforms.
