Destiny; The Iron Banner Making One Last Run Before The Taken King; Last Chance To Get Some Items

August 26, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

The items are remarkable and likely to go obsolete, but this was clearly done for the completists.

Bungie has revealed that the Iron Banner is returning for rotation one final time, prior to the release of Destiny: The Taken King.

This IRON BANNER is your last chance to earn Year One rewards. Saladin shall return in TTK – these emblems won't. pic.twitter.com/3vKkQ0jM3l

Lord Saladin will be selling relatively unremarkable fare, considering how long the game has been on, but it does include things that won’t be available once The Taken King comes live, such as the emblems shown in the tweet. Also up for sale are these items:

·         Iron Breed Boots (Rank 3, Light Level 36)

·         Iron Breed Hood (Rank 4, Light Level 36)

·         Felwinter’s Lie (Rank 4)

·         Silimar’s Wrath (Rank 5)

·         Etheric Light (available at Rank 3 and 5 for 5,000 glimmer)

As pointed out by our source, these items are likely to be made obsolete by The Taken King, but if you wanted to be a completist, here’s your last chance to pick these up. Saladin will be back, but not these wares.

Destiny: The Taken King is set to release on September 15, 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
