Former developers of CD Projekt Red who worked on The Witcher 3 have departed the company to start up a new studio called Fool's Theory. Their first game is titled Seven, and it's being co-developed with IMGN.PRO, which recently released Kholat.
Powered by Unreal Engine 4, Seven is described as a "Thief-inspired, 3D isometric RPG." It's unlike anything we've ever heard of before. In Seven, players take on the role of a solitary traveler much like Geralt. Set in a "beyond post-apocalyptic" setting, you explore an open world environment and urban locales.
Jakub Rokosz, project lead of the game explained, “Our greatest ambition is to bring a breath of fresh air into classic, isometric role playing games – a genre where the player was traditionally chained to the ground. Seven will bring a new type of exploration as well as open new possibilities for tactical planning and stealth gameplay. We are fully aware how big the challenge is, but it only gives us a greater motivation.”
Few details have been released about the game, but for now, you can check out their official website, which has some concept art and details about the game world.
