How soon do you think Ready at Dawn have bounced back from The Order 1886? It turns out, it may not have taken them that long after all.
The developer already has new openings for experienced level designers. Given how specific this job opening is, it’s implied that they already have a project they’re working on.
This is not an entry level opening either. Ready at Dawn need designers with three years’ experience, and capable of managing flow (defined here as level progression systems) in design documentation. They also need someone who can work closely with artists and programmers throughout the game design process.
Is this also perhaps a reaction to The Order 1886 criticism? Fan opinion on the game seemed to start turning when rumors came out (later proven true) that the game could be finished in three hours, and is a generally short experience vs what gamers expected.
Alternatively, perhaps this simply serves to fill whatever needs Ready at Dawn may have with their new project, which may very well now be a multiplatform release.
