Starbreeze has announced that it is working on publishing a new game based on the Keanu Reeves action movie, John Wick.
John Wick will be a first-person shooter based on the movie, its characters, and its locations, with all of the action centering around the Continental Hotel. Its storyline will tie into Payday 2, Starbreeze's most popular game.
The game will be the first title by the studio to use VR technology. As such, they will be working wite WEVR to make the game a reality. Grab, a studio with VR experience, will be developing the title. Starbreeze says that they will release the game on multiple VR platforms, including the HTC Vive. John Wick's film producer Basil Iwanyk and the production team behind the movie will be collaborating with the studios.
The game will be out sometime in 2016. It's not known whether the game will coincide with John Wick 2, which is expected next September.
