It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything substantive for Halo 5 Guardians. Following their reveal of a special edition Xbox One bundle, and an eSports presentation, we have some new footage of the story campaign and the arena multiplayer.
The campaign trailer doesn’t have the story teasers you might be looking for, but it should still be a mild surprise. Yep, this sure looks a lot like the multiplayer mode, as Master Chief seemingly fights with a squad under his command. Whatever he was doing out hiding from the public, he may not have been doing alone. Alternately, this may come early in the game’s story, or much later in the campaign when he could be working with the UNSC again.
Meanwhile, for the Arena, you can check out gameplay in all the beta maps: Coliseum, Plaza, The Rig, and Eden.
Halo 5 Guardians will be released exclusively to Xbox One on October 27, 2015.
