Supernova Unveils The Stormherald, a Support Commander

August 6, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

The support commander called The Stormherald has just been unveiled.

The upcoming MOBA title from Bandai Namco, Supernova, has just unveiled its latest commander, The Stormherald. With a capital "T" in "The."

This ferosome-sounding character is designed as a strong support commander and someone you'll want to have along with you on the battlefield.

After calling in a combat spacecraft, The Stormherald can use a Grapple hook to immobilize opponents and retract them back into the torrent of firepower. According to the developers, this mech has surprising mobility and recon superiority with the use of his Spearhead clamp. If The Stormherald is unable to escape enemy pursuers, he can activate a Force Field to reduce incoming ranged attack damage and push back nearby enemies.

Additionally, starting today, commanders will be rotated out with nine commanders each being unlocked and free to play. Currently Aelius, Bloat, B.R.O., Legatus Karnel, Mackwell, Maxim, Talo’Thrix, The Stormherald and Velandre are in rotation. The next nine commanders will be available starting August 13.

More exact details about The Stormherald can be found on the official website.

Supernova is currently in closed beta. Sign up here.
