Firaxis and 2K Games have marked gamescom with the release of new screens for XCOM 2 which you can check out in the gallery below.
The images detail soldier customization, threats, something called Dark Events, weapon loadouts, research, and more.
Alluding to gamescom itself, one of the images says "our ground team finds the remains of an old convention center. It seems to have been the base of operations for another counter-alien force called GAMES-COM. Despite a surprising lack of weaponry remaining at the site, we managed to find some usable salvage."
XCOM 2 was announced back in June as a PC exclusive launching this November and takes place 20 years after the events of XCOM Enemy Unknown. It focuses on an XCOM team fighting against the alien invasion and their puppet government, the Advent.
