Stellaris, an upcoming 4X strategy game from Paradox Development Studios, was accidentally leaked on Steam earlier today when the game's official Steam page went live by accident. It was removed shortly after it went live but not before keen-eyed Steam users managed to download all of the screenshots hosted on the page along with details of the game.
The game's description is as follows:
Explore a vast galaxy full of wonder! Paradox Development Studio, makers of Crusader Kings and Europa Universalis series presents Stellaris, an evolution of the grand strategy genre with space exploration at its core.
One reddit user, Thegreenorbit, managed to watch the trailer that was posted before it was taken down and describes it as follows: "The trailer was a ship flying through space next to some planets and then it ends on meeting an unknown space station. (Think maybe third person view of an elite dangerous ship)."
The game is expected to make its official debut at Gamescom 2015 during Paradox's official press event at 3PM ET tomorrow.
