Visceral has revealed the latest expansion for Battlefield Hardline, named straightforwardly named Robbery.
The expansion serves as their version of heists, but will also let you play the cops, and this might be the more interesting option. Apparently part of the simulation is allowing you to interrogate at a precinct locker room for intel, so there is a lot more behind it than usual.
Robbery comes with all of this:
· Four expansive maps: The Docks, Break Pointe, Museum, and Precinct 7
· New 5v5 game mode: Squad Heist
· 4 new weapons
· 2 new gadgets
· 2 new factional vehicles and new vehicle upgrades
· New camos and vehicle paints
· The Legendary Super Feature
Squad Heist mode, inspired by Squad Rush from Battlefield 4, lets you play through three phases:
1) Criminals take a Drill, break into Vault 1, and grab the Loot from the vault.
2) Criminals take a Drill, break into Vault 2, and grab the Loot from the vault.
3) Criminals run to an escape location, call a helicopter, and get the loot to safety.
Squad Heist will be map specific, and give the criminals 25 deploy tickets. If the cops lose all 25 tickets, they lose as well.
Battlefield Hardline: Robbery is available for Early Access for Battlefield Hardline Premium members in September 2015, and will be released for everyone else later.
