Homefront: The Revolution is making waves at Gamescom 2015 today, where the studio developing it showcased the game for the first time in a long time. The publisher has released a host of screenshots, all of which you can see below.
Originally announced in 2014, the game was slated for a 2015 release on the PC, Xbox One and PS4. The date has since been moved to 2016.
The game takes place four years after the North Korean invasion of the United States of America in rundown Philadelphia, now essentially a police state.
Designed as an open world FPS, Homefront: The Revolution will feature a dedicated single-player campaign as well as a multiplayer mode. The beta for multiplayer is scheduled to take place this winter, coming first to the Xbox One.
