NVIDIA has announced that their GeForce GTX GPUs and G-SYNC compatible monitors have been selected to be in the gaming platform of choice when the best eSports players from around the world compete against each other at the International Dota 2 Championships.
The annual tournament, now in its fifth year, boasts a prize pool of $17 million, the biggest in eSports history. It's anticipated that over 20 million viewers will tune in to watch the show. It's set to take place from August 3 to August 8, 2015 in Key Arena at the Seattle Center.
Valve has posted pictures of the setups that participating eSports athletes are currently practicing on. Each computer is stocked with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti and G-SYNC monitors, all of which have been provided by NVIDIA.
