Stoic, the studio behind the popular turn-based strategy game The Banner Saga, have teamed up with indie publisher Versus Evil and miniatures board game creator MegaCon games to produce The Banner Saga: Warband, a miniatures board game.
Production of the game is already underway and the trio of studios plan to launch a Kickstarter campaign for interested gamers.
While no details about the miniatures game have been officially released, the companies have set up an official website that you can check out to receive more information when it becomes available.
MegaCon Games is known for a host of tabletop miniatures games including MERCS, Myth, Emergence Event, and Recon. They have several other games currently in production.
The studios plan to showcase the upcoming baord game at Gen Con Indy at booth 1449, so if you happen to be going, check them out.
