Straight out of the Tokyo Game Show is a recording of a stage demo of the new Devil May Cry. The game, which was demoed on a PlayStation 3 at the event shows the new, black-haired Dante being ambushed by some undead humanoids on a street within a dense city.
Dante executes a variety of sword attacks, propelling him into the air, and uses his gun and kicks to finish off his monstrous opponents. The highly stylized action slows down as he performs executions.
Reminiscent of the combat and platforming in Batman: Arkham Asylum and Bayonetta, the new game doesn't look half bad despite complaints about the changes.
