StarCraft 2 is five years old today. To celebrate the game's fifth birthday, Blizzard has some surprises in store for fans of the game.
Anyone who logs on from July 27 to August 3 will receive a special in-game portrait to adorn their profiles with. Additionally, certain units will explode in a cloud of confetti to get players into the celebratory spirit.
Once players have had some fun in-game, Blizzard invites fans to check out the official website's media section where they plan to add a new wallpaper to mark the occasion.
Beyond the celebration, Blizzard is expected to release the game's third and final expansion, Legacy of the Void, before the end of the year for the PC and Mac. We'll be covering that when it's out.
