Blizzard appears to be hosting a press conference at gamescom 2015 next week in Cologne, Germany.
The publisher has not officially announced the event but French World of Warcraft site Mamytwink has recieved an invitation to attend briefing on Wednesday, August 5th at 12:00 CEST/13:00 BST/ 08:00 EST.
According to the invitation, which you can see below, the event will last one hour.
Blizzard is currently preparing to launch Star Craft 2's final expansion Legacy of the Void later this year. Other titles including Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch will likely make an appearance but it's unlikely new reveals for any of them would warrant a press conference.
The company recently registered a trademark for 'Council of Glades' with New Zealand's IP office, with the discovery being made by MMO Champion forum users.
Warlords of Draenor only launched late last year, making Council of Glades unlikely as a World of Warcraft expansion. While it could be a new IP, it's most likely a Diablo expansion. Blizzard's last major presentation at gamescom was two years ago when Diablo 3's Reaper of Souls expansion was announced.
