Open-world survival horror game Dying Light came out January 27th of this year. It’s only 6 months old, and there’s already been a lot of content updates put into it. Techland’s celebrating it by putting together a nice little highlights reel featuring the major content updates and add-ons that the game has received since its launch.
We can tell that Techland is real proud of how far their project has made it in a relatively short amount of time, and we gotta give them props for keeping a world full of zombies from going stale. When updates are trickling in, you would hardly notice, but having them all lined up lets you appreciate the hard work that’s gone into the game.
Looks like they’re not slowing down either; they’re bringing their next big addition to Dying Light to Gamescom 2015, where they’ll be previewing it behind closed doors. A public reveal will follow soon. Producer Tymon Smektala said of the new content: “We’re really excited to finally be able to show this major project we’ve been secretly working on since the release of the game. This is Dying Light from a totally new angle, but with everything fans love about the original still at the core.”
Everything we see in Dying Light’s “180 Days of Content” video shows that the game has grown significantly, giving its players a richer experience, and it sounds like they’re not planning to stop anytime soon.
