Paramount+ Release New Trailer For Upcoming Halo Series

March 15, 2022 by John McDonald

New trailer for the upcoming Halo series released by Paramount

There are only 10 days left until the long-awaited Halo series debuts on our screens, and in preparation for the release, Paramount+ has dropped a brand-new exciting trailer. Will it reveal new details about the famed Master Chief? Although, what details don’t we already know about this staple figure?

This teaser trailer does in fact show us a little more when it comes to the aesthetic, highlighting gorgeous visuals with great cinematography, as well as a little peek into some more actions sequences, which is always a good thing, right? What is known already about the series is that it will be influenced more by the video games rather than the live-action projects that have been released over the years, details that were confirmed by executive producer Kiki Wolfkill on Twitter.

The big worry for all you Halo fans out there will be the lack of Master Chief in the trailer, with there being more of a focus on its supporting characters instead, and trying to establish the environment as well. But not to worry, because the trailer’s final shot is one that will get you riled up, with it offering a truly gorgeous insight into the mechanics of the lead character and the show itself. Halo fans are as passionate as they come and have already voiced their concern that the show might not live up to the hype; delivering a very underwhelming representation that could be heavily bogged down by excessive CGI. But this new trailer might just turn a few heads around again.

A strong cast also hopes to lift this series to another level, with Pablo Schreiber portraying Master Chief, Natascha McElhone as Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Halsey (whose position might already be under threat, going off the trailer) and Danny Sapani is introduced as Captain Jacob Keyes, a trusted confidant of Master Chief.

It all hopes to be rather exciting, and you can watch the Halo series when it drops on Paramount+ on March 24th.
