Despite its critics, Marvel’s Avengers is still going strong with the content drops. Tomorrow sees a real treat being introduced for fans of the MCU and their beloved webbed hero, Spider-Man, in particular. Fans of Marvel’s Avengers were a bit confused by last year’s introduction of Spider-Man into the game. This was down to the lack of playable story content to run alongside one of the most iconic members of the Avengers, which left some players more than a little bit disappointed. It is, however, a difficult situation for developers Crystal Dynamics, given that Spider-Man content is specifically limited to PlayStation users due to exclusivity.
While there’s still currently no news on any additional story content being brought into play for Spider-Man, it does seem that Crystal Dynamics are attempting to sweet talk the game’s remaining player base with the introduction of some new suits for Spidey. These brand new Spider-Man suits are actually based on the character’s outfits in the MCU, so they will surely get a more positive reception from fans of the movies as well as the game.
The first of these suits is the Stealth Outfit from Spider-Man: Far From Home. MCU fans will recognise this as the suit given to Peter Parker by Nick Fury in the movie. This slick-looking outfit arrives into Marvel’s Avengers tomorrow and can be obtained via the in-game marketplace. However, it’s not yet known how much the suit will cost. One thing to note though is that due to the exclusivity of Spider-Man with PlayStation, the Stealth Outfit will only be available to PS4 and PS5 players.
You can get a first look at the new outfit for Spider-Man before it drops into Marvel’s Avengers tomorrow, March 10th right here:
It remains to be seen if any of the other Avengers will be getting updated looks to run alongside their webbed superhero friend, but we’ll be keeping a close eye on things for further updates.
