Tales of Zestiria and Tales of Symphonia are both coming to Steam.
Tales of Zestiria is the more immediate release, planned for release across PC, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 on October 16 of this year. Bandai Namco revealed a special collector’s edition to commemorate the franchise’s 20th anniversary, that will be available for all these platforms.
The collector’s edition comes with all these:
- 4 Chibi Kyun Chara figures
- Lady of the Lake sanctuary cloth artwork
- Hardback artbook
- 30 minute anime DVD
- Selected soundtrack from the game
- Exclusive Normin metalcase
- Collector’s Edition box
Both first print Collector’s Editions and Standard Editions come with free bonus Exclusive Mystic Arte DLC for Mikleo, Lailah and Alisha, and there’s also Alisha’s Story DLC available free upon launch, but for a limited time only. Several retailers also get their own exclusive incentives, including physical pin sets, and digital costumes and weapon skins.
As for Tales of Symphonia, it will be a rerelease of the HD version from consoles last year, and it will be coming to Steam in 2016.
Bandai Namco has setup an intriguing preorder incentive for Tales of Zestiria. There are unspecified preorder milestones unlocking bonus content for all preorderers. Fans can get, in order, 5 weapon skin DLCs, 4 classic male costumes, 5 classic female costumes, and finally, Steam copies of Tales of Symphonia.
