Are you still starting out your Fallout Shelter game? Maybe you’re waiting for it to come to Android? Fans have found a little trick that will help you get far.
If you haven’t played the game yet, Fallout Shelter is actually a small and fun simulation game. You are Overseer of your own little Vault, and you take control of the people who inhabit it. You can rescue dwellers from the wasteland and have them gather resources. Your skill in managing the dwellers determines if your Vault will thrive or sink.
This trick involves a key mechanic of the game, lunchboxes. You can buy lunchboxes as microtransactions, but they will also generate naturally in the process of your playing the game.
When you start out, you get a set of really easy objectives. It turns out the first two objectives have a limiter programmed on them.
So, the trick is really simply. Do not claim the rewards for these two objectives:
· Sell 1 Weapon or Outfit
· Equip 1 Dweller with an Outfit
You can keep earning rewards for the other objectives free and as often as you want and you’re guaranteed lunchboxes. It’s not too broken, since these objectives require collecting 50 food or 50 water or leveling up a dweller. So, this may stick around indefinitely.
Fallout Shelter is playable on iOS now and is coming to Android in the future.
