Sony has announced that inking a new deal with Activision Sony's PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 will serve as the new home for the Call of Duty franchise.
What this means for gamers is that Sony platforms will be the first to get DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Previously, Microsoft's Xbox platforms were the first to get DLC, a month ahead of the PlayStation and PC.
In addition to this announcement, Sony revealed that Black Ops 3's beta will come to anyone who preorders the game on the PlayStation 4 in August.
Black Ops 3 comes out for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 6, 2015.
