E3 2015: Star Wars Battlefront Multiplayer Gameplay Trailer Revealed

June 15, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Here’s the Star Wars: Battlefront gameplay trailer from E3 2015.

Star Wars: Battlefront made a showing at EA's E3 2015 conference today, showcasing some new details about the upcoming team-based first-person shooter set in the Star Wars universe.

The publisher released a five minute multiplayer gameplay demonstration of the title, showcasing actual footage captured from a PlayStation 4. The battle appears to be taking place in an icy environment–presumably Hoth.

EA announced today that the game is set to offer split-screen co-op in addition to regular multiplayer.

Powered by the Frostbite game engine, Star Wars: Battlefront is one of several EA games running on the engine. The company says that the sophistication of the engine allows them bring all manner of settings into reality.

Star Wars: Battlefront comes out on November 17, 2015 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game is set to see the release of free DLC two weeks after the game's release, provided you pre-order the title.
