Splatoon Gets a New Weapon, the Splash-O-Matic!, Tomorrow

June 12, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

A brand new weapon is coming to Splatoon.

Splatoon publisher Nintendo has announced that the shooter exclusive to the Wii U is set to receive a brand new weapon tomorrow called the Splash-O-Matic!, the third extra weapon that Splatoon has seen since release.

Splatoon players will be able to try out the new gun first thing tomorrow. The Splash-O-Matic! is a rapid-fire gun, though its stats have yet to be revealed.

Previously, Nintendo released the Inkbrush roller weapon and the N-Zap '85, which resembles the old NES Zapper from decades ago.

The publisher plans to release new content for the game each week until August, with several new maps and game modes on the way.

Just a few days ago, Nintendo added a new map called Kelp Dome, a large indoor greenhouse environment with bridges and tunnels for players to camp.

pic.twitter.com/uHI2hj6mJO
