You got the power! You got the touch! You got a sequel!
Shadow Warrior is getting a sequel in the form of Shadow Warrior 2, Devolver Digital has announced today. The announcement came along with the release of a soundless teaser that depicts the series' protagonist Lo Wang and an old dude whose face looks incredibly detailed thanks to the game's (presumably) new engine.
The publisher has yet to reveal which platforms the game will be released on, but we can expect it to be out for the PC, if not the PS4 and Xbox One. Expect further details when E3 takes place next week, in addition to all the other games set to be announced.
Shadow Warrior is the reimagining of 3D Realms first-person shooter by the same name. Developed by Flying Wild Hog, players took on the role of Lo Wang, who wields a katana and a host of firearms to defend earth against a demonic invasion. The game was released as a PC exclusive in 2013 and later came out for consoles in 2014.
We loved it in our review.
If Flying Wild Hog's back behind the steering wheel for the new game, we can expect even more of that good stuff.
