Capcom has put out word of the Mega Man Legacy Collection, which is due for release on the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo 3DS.
The collection includes reproductions of the first original six Mega Man games and also comes with a Museum Mode and Challenge Mode, the latter of which is designed for advanced players.
In Museum Mode, players can view a host of high-resolution artwork, information and concept pieces from Mega Man's extensive history, while Challenge Mode offers an advanced challenge to players by remixing portions of the six games with varied difficulty levels and objectives. Players who participate in this mode can view replays and have their names shown on an online leaderboard.
The collection of games is being built in a new engine dubbed the Eclipse Engine, which is set to reproduce these classic titles in HD. As a digital only affair, gamers will be able to download the collection from the various digital stores for $14.99.
