Mega Man Legacy Collection Coming this Year, Includes Six Games

June 8, 2015 by Stephen Daly

Features Challenge Mode and Museum Mode.

Capcom has announced the Mega Man Legacy Collection, which will be released later this year for Nintendo 3DS, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The Mega Man Legacy Collection offers "reproductions" of the original six Mega Man games and features a Museum Mode and a Challenge Mode.

Museum Mode comes with high-res art, concept pieces, sketches, and information on Mega Man's past, while Challenge Mode fuses different sections from each of the six games with different levels of difficulty and objectives. Leaderboard support is included, as is the ability to replay.

Based on a new 'Eclipse Engine', which has been designed to create 8-bit games with HD-level graphics. The Mega Man Legacy Collection will only be released digitally and will be available for PC, PS4 , and Xbox One during the summer, while the Nintendo 3DS version comes out this winter for $14.99.
