June 3, 2015 by Stephen Daly

PS4 retail version offers extra modes, double sided poster, and artbook.

Comcept has released a new gameplay trailer for Mighty No. 9 at 60fps, and confirmed that the game will offer cross-buy compatibility on PlayStation platforms.

Cross-buy will be supported on PS3, PS4, and PS Vita for both the digital versions and the PS4 retail version. That version comes with boss battle Ray DLC which features the Abandoned Lab stage, and the ability tto play the entire game as Ray herself. A double sided poster and a 'The Art of Mighty No. 9' artbook featuring artwork and concepts for the game.

Those who pre-order will have access to 'Retro Hero Mode', in which Beck will wear a retro-inspired suit with 8-bit style sound effects and access to an extremely difficult insta-death mode.

Mighty No. 9 is coming out on September 15th for 3DS, Linux, Mac, PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The game is to be published by Deep Silver after the developers raised $3.8 million on Kickstarter two years ago.
