Dragon Quest 10: Offline Has Been Delayed To Summer Of 2022

December 29, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

Developers are needing a bit more time with the game.

There are a ton of excellent video game RPGs that fans enjoyed over the years. Several iconic RPGs have been around for decades, which is the case for Dragon Quest. This franchise might not have the biggest fan base around the world compared to Square Enix’s Final Fantasy. However, quite a few fans are waiting on new releases. One of those games, in particular, is an offline version of an MMORPG installment called Dragon Quest 10: Offline.

Dragon Quest has been around for years, as mentioned earlier. As a result, there were a few new takes for the franchise. For instance, you might find some interest in an MMORPG release. That’s exactly what some fans received with Dragon Quest 10. This online MMORPG can be enjoyed now, but an offline version is also coming out soon. Years after the 2017 release, Square Enix has been going back to deliver a new take for the game.

Players would receive a completely offline version to go through the campaign. It was a game that Square Enix was hoping to get out into the marketplace during the start of this coming year. Previously, the title was looking at a February launch, but that’s not happening now. Instead, it looks like the developers are pushing the game back into the summer months of 2022. According to reports online, this delay allows the studio to further polish the game.

As a result, it doesn’t look like any major problems are forcing the developers from pushing this game out into the marketplace. It might be some bitter news to hear if you’ve been waiting on this game. Although, delaying games usually means a better product when it finally does launch into the marketplace. Right now, we don’t have any specific date outside of a launch window of this coming summer. So for now we’ll have to wait for Square Enix to unveil the new release date.
