Horizon Forbidden West is quite the anticipated video game release coming next year. The game throws players back into the role of Aloy, who is forced into a brand new journey. If you enjoyed the first game and are interested in the sequel, you might want to make sure you have enough storage space. A new report has surfaced online suggesting just what exactly the upcoming game will require from players. Unfortunately, this might require removing some games off of your storage drive.
The upcoming Horizon Forbidden West has a new report on the storage size requirements. This comes from the PlayStation Game Size Twitter account. Overall, the game looks like it will require 96 GB of storage space. That’s just a report from the Twitter account as they discover this update to the Sony PlayStation database. Unfortunately, this is quite a hefty download for players to endure, but you’ll have time to make room if needed.
Horizon Forbidden West is currently not slated to release until February 18, 2022. That will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Although, if you recall, the original installment for the franchise was also released exclusively on PlayStation 4 before it eventually saw a launch on the PC platform. If you’re unfamiliar with this game installment premise, Aloy has to travel west to figure out what is causing a plague that’s killing all living life.
Players will be experiencing other tribes and mechanical beasts for the first time. As mentioned, this is just a reported storage size as we’re still waiting for the official announcement to come out. Recently, the Twitter account made headlines for another fire storage reporting. Yesterday the Twitter account unveiled that supposed PlayStation 5 file storage size for Elden Ring. Both games are slated for February, so we should hopefully hear some official news on the storage space requirements soon.
