Developers at Deep End Games, who previously worked on the BioShock series at Irrational and Dead Space at Visceral, has announced first person horror adventure Perception.
Players take on the role of a blind woman and must rely on her enhanced hearing and intelligence to escape from a "deadly presence".
Cassie, the protagonist, spends months researching her nightmares until she finds an abandoned mansion. Travelling to Gloucester, Massachusetts, the Estate at Echo Bluff, she must confront a "Presence" which has tormented the people who've lived in the house for decades.
To survive, Cassie will need to solve the estate's mystery using her wits, her cane, and her smartphone. While the house won't make things easy for her, it seems something doesn't want her to leave either.
Perception is set for release on Steam in 2016.
