The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been out for a few days now and it's already seen a couple of day one patches that have been released to improve the game's performance and optimize it for players.
Following complaints that the game has been visually downgraded, CD Projekt Red has released a new patch that adds even more graphical options into the mix, allowing the game to boost anisotropy levels to 16x on Ultra, and adding a slider to the Sharpen postprocess setting.
In addition to all of that, the patch improves stability in gameplay and the UI and improves the title's performance during cutscenes and gameplay. It also brings significant improvements to the performance of Nvidia Hairworks, so it doesn't cause as much of a hit.
