You really should check out this amazingly detailed map of Super Mario World's Dinosaur Land, etched onto wood by designer Alex Griendling, who produced a variety of these laser-etched wood maps.

The artist also did one for Legend of Zelda's Hyrule, inspired by Ocarina of Time.
Sized 18.5" wide and 14" tall, these maps are available for $150 at the online store Neutral Ground. There's even a keyhole in the rear for hanging it up on the wall.
