Life is Strange: Episode 3 Launches Tomorrow, Gets a Trailer

May 18, 2015 by Stephen Daly

Chaos Theory is the order of the day.

DontNod Entertainment's Life is Strange – Episode 3: Chaos Theory is out tomorrow and now has a trailer to mark the occasion.

The game is set in the fictional town of Arcadia bay, Oregon and follows Max Caulfield, a student at a local academy who develops the power to rewind time. In the trailer above, we see Max and her friend Chloe Price reunited as the break into the academy after dark.

In our review of the original episode back in January, we said:

"Life is Strange is rated as "M" for Mature, and the opening gambit of its first episode paints a suitably adult and mature tale. With characters that are very human and relatable, a story that comes across as a healthy combination of normal and yet, compellingly strange. Much like life itself! An engaging, quality piece of entertainment."

Chaos Theory is the third of five episodes, but the release dates for those episodes have not yet been confirmed. Life is Strange is available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

DontNod is also developing Vampyr, an RPG set during the 1920s in which you play as a doctor battling Spanish Flu.
