Costume Quest is Turning Into a Cartoon

May 15, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

The studio behind Adventure Time is working on a Costume Quest cartoon.

DoubleFine's Costume Quest just got slightly more awesome, as they announced that Frederator Studios, the animation outfit behind Adventure Time, Bravest Warriors, and Bee and PuppyCat have revealed that their latest project will be none other than an animated adaptation of Costume Quest.

The studio didn't explicitly say it was working on Costume Quest but coyly hinted that it rhymed with "Mostume Mwest." The character designs and storyboard is being done by Zac Gorman, whose work is featured in the image below, which also showcases the show's voice cast:

Zac Gorman is behind the Magical Game Time art blog and was also responsible for the graphic novel adaptation of Costume Quest.

Polygon suggests that the animated series will likely feature on Frederator's Cartoon Hangover website rather than television, but we'll just have to wait and see if that's actually the case.
