Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the most anticipated video games hitting the marketplace in 2020. However, fans had to endure several delays. While we got close to 2021, the video game became available in December of last year. As you all likely are already familiar with, the game was a pretty buggy mess. There were so many technical issues that the development studio had to endure quite a lot.
For instance, the game was removed for some time on digital storefronts, refunds were going out, and a series of updates. While we’re still not completely out of the woods when it comes to the bugs, Cyberpunk 2077 is in better shape. It looks like the developers are having no problems when it comes to getting some positive reviews on Steam. Thanks to the recent sale event, we’re finding more players jumping onto the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 was on a major discount thanks to the Steam Autumn Sale, which you can still gain access to. This put Cyberpunk 2077 at a heavy discount, and apparently, thousands of more players have been jumping into the game. That ultimately resulted in the game receiving a Very Positive rating. We might still have some bugs popping up, but it looks like the feedback currently has gone up quite a bit for this game.
Even the quest director for Cyberpunk 2077, Pawel Sasko, took to Twitter to thank the newfound fans of Cyberpunk 2077. We might not be getting any new updates for the rest of this year, but those just jumping into the mix will likely be ready for 2022’s updates. For players who have already completed the game nearly a year ago at this point, it might be an anticipated wait for the first major expansion release. We’re certainly hopeful the expansion has a smoother launch than the base game.
