The Naughty Dog development studio is known for delivering highly detailed and narrative-driven action-adventure games for Sony. This first-party studio has brought out several iconic games, including Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter, Uncharted, and The Last of Us. We know a collection release is coming. Unveiled earlier this year, we got word of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.
This particular collection is coming to the PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. However, you might find it interesting that this game collection only comes with two installments. So rather than deliver all the major installments released for the IP, we only have the latest installments included. That, of course, is Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the spin-off installment, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. It’s quite unfortunate that the earlier games are not coming, especially on the PC platform.
Still, those of you who want to replay a remastered edition of these games will soon be able to do so in 2022. Unfortunately, it looks like the multiplayer component might be missing. This is not confirmed right now, but a new ESRB rating noticed by VGC comes with the No Interactive Elements indication. Essentially that means the games are missing a multiplayer component, but again we’re waiting on some official confirmation here.
Still, Uncharted is one of the biggest IPs under Naughty Dog. Fortunately, Sony has been dabbling into the PC platform and delivering some ports to their previous games. As a result, we’re finally getting Uncharted on the platform. As big as this game franchise is and with a prequel movie adaptation coming out, it would be interesting to see if another installment manages to make its way out into the marketplace after this remastered collection launches. Although, for now, all we can do is wait and see if an Uncharted game announcement ends up coming out.
