Rockstar Games might not have unveiled Grand Theft Auto 6 yet. But they were hopeful the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy Definitive Edition would suffice. The game was announced as a remastered collection of three iconic past Grand Theft Auto games. In this collection, we got the remaster for Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and, lastly, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Unfortunately, there were quite a few bugs that players had to deal with.
Some might have found the remastered collection a bit underwhelming. For PC players, the game might continue to get bigger and better. That’s thanks to plenty of hardworking fans that brought out mods. Several modders have taken to the internet and delivered fixes and issues to make the game more suitable. Others have taken up preserving cut content so that the game is as original as possible.
For instance, the rainfall was one of the issues fans have taken up with the game. The visuals actually made the game difficult to see, and that’s fortunately fixed with a mod. The Better Rain mod addresses the visuals and makes the rain look might better. That’s just one example, as there are a ton of different mods readily available that can adjust the game in different ways.
Through mods, players can make more variety of vehicles, bring back original menu sounds, adjust character models, and again make adjustments in cut content like the Dixie Flag shirt design in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. You can find all kinds of mods through the Nexus Mods Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy page. Meanwhile, other fans are waiting on Rockstar Games to move on with the franchise and deliver the Grand Theft Auto 6 installment. Regardless, modders have an uphill battle to continue their work.
