Square Enix has been busy with releasing new games today. Following the release of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years on Steam, the publisher has announced that they are releasing the timeless classic duo Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for the PlayStation 4 today.
Originally released on the PS Vita and PlayStation 3, the game is now available on the PlayStation 4 with even better graphics than ever before.
Often regarded as a groundbreaking milestone in RPG storytelling for the PlayStation 2, FFX introduced players to the world of SPira with great visuals and fully voiced characters–the first in a Final Fantasy title. FFX-2 marked the first direct sequel to a Final Fantasy title and returned players to the world of Spira with an improved, fast-paced combat system.
If you have the PS3 or PS Vita versions of the game, you can transfer your save on the PS4.
The game features even more remastered characters and monsters, making it look better than its PS3 counterpart. Additionally, the game features a remastered soundtrack excluisive to the PlayStation 4 version.
Final Fantasy X/X‑2 HD Remaster is available today for $49.99.
