Spider-Man is finally coming to Marvel’s Avengers later this month. The Spider-Man update has been promised to players since before the game was even released. Although, the update is only for PlayStation players, unfortunately. For those who are playing on PlayStation, Spidey will be arriving on November 30.
Aside from Spider-Man, the November 30 update is also bringing players The Klaw Raid which will take place after the previous expansion, War for Wakanda. There will also be some quality of life improvements in the big update. The power level will be increased to 175, gear recycling will be introduced and there will now be per-hero weekly objectives.
Spider-Man will also get his very own hero event when he is introduced in Marvel’s Avengers. The Spider-Man: With Great Power, hero event will introduce Spider-Man to the Avengers as he joins Black Widow and Ms. Marvel to take down AIM. In the event, Spidey is going to struggle with the team up as he is used to working alone. Players will get to experience how Spider-Man fares when teaming up and whether or not he decides to fight solo instead. I imagine since it’s the Avengers game, it’s likely that he will decide to join up.
Finally, players will now be given the opportunity to earn cosmetics, resources, and other items by playing the game. The ability will come as part of the new Shipments feature. Players will be able to purchase Shipments for 500 units each. Each Shipment will give players the chance to get a premium outfit but it isn’t all chance. After purchasing 100 Shipments, players will automatically receive a premium outfit. More information will be available later but the new feature sounds like a good way for players to earn some of the better cosmetics through playing the game.
Spider-Man will be available alongside all of the other updates mentioned on November 30.
