Electronic Arts expects to release DICE's Mirror's Edge 2 during the first quarter 2016, the company revealed today in its latest earnings call.
A new Plants vs Zombies game, and sequel to Garden Warfare, will be released during the same window. EA also has unannounced games in development which it plans to launch by March 31st, 2016.
There will be two Need for Speed games released in Q4 this year, following the series' absence last year for the first time since 2001. The console version has yet to be titled, but is being developed by Ghost Games, who developed 2013's well received NFS: Rivals. Mobile players will be able to play Need for Speed: No Limits from Real Racing developer Firemonkeys.
Titanfall 2 will not be released until fiscal year 2017, meaning some point after April 1st, 2016, the publisher also said.
EA predicated sales of 10 million for Star Wars Battlefront, which releases this November, and said it expects 20 million PS4 and Xbox One consoles to be sold this year. EA also revealed that 80 per cent of Battlefield Hardline sales were on PC, PS4, and Xbox One despite the sizable last-gen console markets.
The company will likely reveal details on many of these games at its E3 press conference on June 15th.
