The Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Season Pass is now listed on Steam.
Without naming names, the listing reveals there will be four DLC packs for the game. The season pass retails for $ 50. You can, of course, also opt to buy the base game and the season pass under a Digital Deluxe Edition
Treyarch previously revealed the boundaries between the game’s story campaign, multiplayer, and zombies modes have been broken down, in such a way that you can assemble a party of players online, and switch between modes seamlessly. There is also overlap in some systems and progression between the three modes.
So, the question that appears here would be if all players need to have bought the DLC to play together as they will be able to on the base game. Would Activision also consider selling multiple season passes on discount? Or will they take ideas from Evolve or Mario Kart 8 regarding allowing players to play with others who purchased some content or not.
For the consumer, of course, there is another question that comes up, raised earlier by Batman Arkham Knight’s season pass. Should game companies be selling games at over $ 100 before fans even get to play them? Or is this a business practice that could backfire on companies down the line?

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will be releasing on November 6 on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
