Dungeons 2, Realmforge Studios' take on the Dungeon Keeper formula, has been released today on Steam by publisher Kalypso.
Priced at a regular $39.99, the game is available through the platform for Windows, Linux , Mac, and even SteamOS.
The first title was released four years ago and, like the new sequel, was heavily influenced by the likes of Dungeon Keeper. I've played a bit of the second game and it's a lot better than its predecessor, and borrows a lot of elements from Dungeon Keeper, including the ability to slap minions around to make them work harder. Beyond that, it's just a solid dungeon management sim.
In addition to the game's digital release, a boxed version is set to arrive in North American retail outlets this week on April 28.
