If you've been waiting for another eerie, inspiring exploration-based title, then we might have just the fit for you. Submerged is a newly announced adventure game that tasks the player with discovery. The game is being developed with a "no failure states" in effect, which means that you can explore the game world without the risk of dying. So, if you're wanting to go in guns blazing on your next purchase, it's probably best to leave this one alone.
Submerged takes place in a flooded city where sister Miku must take care of her wounded brother Taku. Your role falls into controlling Miku, finding various supplies to help aid Taku in his recovery. As players progress throughout the game, they will interact with various denizens of the flooded city. You'll find out how they arrived there and why everyone appears to have turned into "malformed copies of native sea life.
You can check out the announcement trailer below. Submerged was supposed to have released in early 2015, but hopefully we'll get some more information as to when the title's actual debut will take place.
